Privacy

The short version

We collect what we need to run your account and send the quotes, invoices, and texts you ask us to send. We don’t sell your list. Your clients are yours. Our marketing pages and the app load a Google Ads tag so we can tell which ads bring in sign-ups — more on that below, including how to turn it off. Who we are

JOBENS is operated by NETRAID LLC, Rochester Hills, Michigan. This policy covers jobens.com, the app you log into there, and the pages JOBENS hosts for shops (booking pages, embedded forms, and client portals).

What shops give us

• Account: name, email, phone, company name, trade, plan, billing email. A password hash if you use a password; your Google account email and name if you sign in with Google.
• What you type in: clients, addresses, phones, jobs, quotes, invoices, photos, timesheets, notes, website copy.
• Payments: Stripe handles cards. We keep Stripe customer, subscription, and account IDs — not card numbers.
• Crew location: when a crew member has the Route page open and auto clock-in is on, their phone sends its GPS position about every 15 seconds. We keep only the latest position, so the shop can see the crew on the map and clock them in and out at the property. A clock-in or clock-out records whether they were on site, not the coordinates. Close the page or turn off location in the browser and it stops.
• Optional: push alert subscriptions, creator codes and payout details, support tickets and feedback.

What your clients give us

When a homeowner books on a shop’s page, fills in a request form, opens a quote, or pays an invoice, we get what they enter: name, email, phone, address, notes, and any photos. Card payments go to Stripe on the shop’s behalf. If a shop saves a card for repeat billing, Stripe stores it and we keep the reference.

Usage data

Logins, device, IP, which pages load, and errors, so we can keep it up and stop abuse. On public marketing pages, Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies; we strip everything but the page and campaign tags first, and the app and admin pages aren’t sent at all. If you land on jobens.com from an ad, we log that visit — the ad click ID, campaign tags, referrer, the pages you go through, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP — and delete it after 21 days.

Google Ads tag

We use Google Ads to find new shops, and we load Google’s ad tag (gtag.js) so we can tell which ads lead to sign-ups. It loads on jobens.com marketing pages, sign-up and log-in, and inside the app. It does not load on shop booking pages, embedded forms, or client portals — the pages your clients see.

• What it does: Google sets its own cookies and reads your visit so it can match it to an ad click. We report two moments: when the sign-up page is on screen, and when a new shop is created.
• Enhanced conversions: when a shop is created, the tag sends the owner’s email to Google, which hashes it and uses it to match the sign-up to an ad. We don’t send client data to Google.
• Google uses this under its own policy: how Google uses data from our site.
• Opt out: turn off personalized ads in Google’s My Ad Center, block third-party cookies or googletagmanager.com in your browser, or use an ad blocker. You can also opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.

What we use it for

To run the product you signed up for, bill the plan, send the mail and texts you hit send on, catch abuse, measure our own ads, and tell you when something in the app changes. We don’t use your client list to sell other people’s software. We don’t sell personal information for money.

Who else sees it

The companies that help us run JOBENS. Each gets only what its job needs:

• Vercel — hosts the site and app, and runs Vercel Web Analytics on public pages.
• Neon — the Postgres database. Your account, your clients, jobs, photos, and timesheets live here.
• Stripe — your JOBENS plan, the pay links and saved cards your clients use, and creator payouts. Stripe holds the card numbers.
• Resend — sends email: quotes, invoices, sign-in codes, receipts, and notices.
• Twilio — sends texts you or your crew trigger: on-my-way, reminders, pay links, contracts.
• Google — Sign in with Google, the Google Ads tag (below), and the fonts on every page.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — the “are you a person” check on sign-up and log-in.
• U.S. Census Bureau geocoder and OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) — turn a job address into a map pin. We send the address, nothing else.
• Esri (ArcGIS) and OpenStreetMap — the map tiles on the crew map. Your browser loads them directly.
• Browser push services (Google, Apple, Mozilla, Microsoft) — deliver push alerts if you turn them on. They see the alert, not your account.

We may share if the law requires it, or with a buyer if JOBENS is sold — same rules would apply. Crew you invite see what’s in your company (helpers see only the jobs they’re on). Clients see the quote, invoice, or portal link you send them. JOBENS staff can open your account to fix a ticket; that’s logged.

Cookies and browser storage

• Session cookies so you stay logged in, plus a short-lived copy (5 minutes) so pages load faster.
• A 15-minute cookie after you pass the person check, so you don’t have to do it twice.
• In your browser’s storage (not cookies): your theme, a creator referral code if you arrived on one (kept 90 days), dismissed tips, and a per-tab ID for ad visits that clears when you close the tab.
• Google’s ad cookies, on the pages listed above.
• Stripe and Cloudflare set their own cookies on payment and person-check screens.

How long

Account data while the company is open. Ad-visit logs for 21 days. Billing records as long as tax rules need. You can export timesheets and invoices as CSV from the app; for anything else, email us.

Deleting your data

Email hello@jobens.com from the account’s email and ask. We cancel the plan, delete the company and everything in it, and remove logins that aren’t used by another shop. We keep what the law or a payment dispute requires. Stripe keeps its own payment records under its rules.

Your clients

When you store a homeowner’s name and address, you’re deciding that. JOBENS is the processor for that data; you’re the business they hired. Show them your own privacy note if you need one. A client who got a JOBENS pay link can email us and we’ll point them at you, or delete what we can if you’re gone.

Kids

JOBENS is for businesses. We don’t knowingly take accounts from anyone under 18.

Security

Passwords are hashed. Connections are encrypted. Staff access to your account is logged. No system is perfect — tell us at hello@jobens.com if you think something’s wrong.

Where it lives

JOBENS is built for U.S. shops and runs in the United States. If you use it from somewhere else, your data comes here.

Changes
