Terms of service

The short version

You run your business on JOBENS. You own the client list, jobs, quotes, and photos. We run the software. Monthly (or yearly) after a 14-day trial. Cancel anytime. Card processing goes through Stripe. Questions: hello@jobens.com.

Who this is with

JOBENS is operated by NETRAID LLC, Rochester Hills, Michigan. These terms are the agreement between you and us when you create an account or use jobens.com.

The software

JOBENS is field-service software: quotes, scheduling, GPS, invoices, payments, reviews, a website, and the rest of the product as we ship it. Every plan includes every feature. Plan size is how many people log in, not which buttons you get. We can change, add, or retire features. We’ll say so in What’s new when it matters.

Accounts

You’re responsible for the people you invite, the passwords they pick, and what they do in the app. Keep login details to your crew. If someone shouldn’t have access, remove them. You’re the controller of the client data you put in JOBENS. Don’t use the product for anything illegal, to spam, or to store data you have no right to keep.

Trial, plans, and paying us

New companies get 14 days free. After that we charge the plan you picked — Solo $79, Crew $149, Team $249, Fleet $399 per month, or the yearly rate if you chose that. Extra seats over the band are $19/mo. Prices listed in the product are the prices. We lock the rate you start on for a year. Taxes extra where they apply.

Billing runs through Stripe. If a charge fails, we’ll retry and email you. If it keeps failing we can pause the account until it’s current. Cancel in Settings and you keep the product through the period you already paid. We don’t prorate a mid-cycle cancel. Creator discounts apply only as written on the creator page.

Money you collect from your customers

When a client pays a JOBENS invoice or quote, Stripe processes it. Card fees and the platform fee we list in the product come out of that. You’re the merchant of record for those jobs. You’re responsible for refunds, chargebacks, and tax on the work you did. Connect your Stripe (or use ours where we offer it) as the product describes. We are not your bank.

Your data

Clients, properties, quotes, photos, timesheets, and notes stay yours. You can export. If you close the account we’ll delete or anonymize what’s left after a reasonable wind-down, except records we have to keep for law or billing disputes. See the privacy policy.

Emails you send

Quotes, invoices, and reminders go out through our sending domain until you connect yours. Don’t send junk. If a mailbox provider blocks us because of your list, we can suspend sending until it’s cleaned up.

Creators

If we approve a creator code, you earn a cut of the JOBENS software bill as published on the creators page (not of the jobs they sell). Trials don’t pay. Refunds in the clawback window reverse that slice. We can refuse or pull a code that looks like a coupon mill. Payouts go through Stripe Connect when that’s on.

What we don’t promise

The product is provided as-is. GPS, maps, and third-party networks fail sometimes. We don’t warrant uninterrupted uptime, that a quote will win the job, or that a payment will clear. To the extent Michigan law allows, our liability is capped at the fees you paid us for JOBENS in the twelve months before the claim. We aren’t liable for lost jobs, lost profits, or data you didn’t export.

Ending it

You can cancel anytime. We can suspend or close an account that doesn’t pay, abuses the product, or puts other customers at risk. We’ll email the owner on file when we can.

Other companies’ names

We mention Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Stripe, Google, and similar products so you can compare features and published prices. Those names belong to their owners. JOBENS isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them. We don’t use their logos. Comparison prices are public list prices and can change.

Law

Michigan law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes in the state or federal courts in Oakland County, Michigan, unless we both agree to arbitrate. If a piece of these terms doesn’t hold, the rest still does. We can update these terms; the date at the top changes, and we’ll flag a material change in the app or by email.
