How to fill it in

  • Put your business name and a phone number up top. People pay faster when they know who to call.
  • One line per service. If you mowed four times this month, put 4 in Qty and your per-cut price in Rate.
  • Use the service address, not just the billing address. Landlords and HOAs are often somewhere else.
  • Set a due date. Due on receipt is fine, so is 15 days. Just pick one and write it down.
  • Check your state’s sales tax rules for lawn work. Some states tax it, some don’t.

Done with paper?

In JOBENS the finished job turns into the invoice, and it goes out with a pay link the customer can pay from their phone. Solo is $29 a month, every feature on.

Questions

Is this lawn care invoice template free?
Yes. Fill it in on this page, then print it or save it as a PDF from the print window. No signup, no email.
Should I bill per cut or monthly?
Either works. Per cut is easy to explain. Monthly evens out your cash. Whichever you pick, list the visit dates so nobody argues about how many cuts there were.
Do I charge sales tax on mowing?
It depends on your state. Ask your state’s revenue department or your accountant. If you do charge it, put it on its own line.
How do I get paid faster?
Send the invoice the day the work’s done and make paying easy. In JOBENS the invoice goes out with a pay link, and the customer can pay by card from their phone.
