This is a starting point, not legal advice. Rules differ by state. Have a lawyer look at it for a big account.

How to fill it in

  • Fill in the trigger depth before the season starts. That number is what most snow arguments are about.
  • Walk the property with the customer before the first storm and mark what you can’t see under snow.
  • Pick one way to bill each customer. Mixing flat-season and per push on one account gets messy.
  • Get it signed in the fall. A signed sheet in November beats a text thread in January.

Done with paper?

In JOBENS you set up the seasonal agreement, the crew clocks in on site with GPS, and you invoice after the storm. Solo is $29 a month, every feature on.

Questions

Per push or a flat season price?
A flat season price is steady money in a light winter. Per push pays more in a heavy one. Plenty of shops offer both and let the customer pick.
What trigger depth should I use?
Pick a number you can actually staff on a bad night. Businesses and lots usually want a lower trigger than a home driveway.
Is this contract legally binding?
It’s a plain agreement both sides sign. Contract rules differ by state, so it isn’t legal advice. For a large account, have a lawyer read it first.
Can I run snow accounts in JOBENS instead of on paper?
Yes. Seasonal agreements and recurring visits are on every plan, the crew clocks in on site with GPS, and you invoice after the storm.
